Our Farm

Who needs BBC Springwatch when you can be part of round the clock interaction with nature and wildlife right on your doorstep…

We love our little farm of 22 acres, which envelopes us in a horseshoe so we are completey surrounded by our own land…

Wildlife

We have mallard and tame ducks, a regular visiting pair of Canada geese who love pollaughning so much they come back each year to hatch their eggs… then there’s the buzzards, kestrels, barn and tawny owls, badgers, foxes, and even the odd visiting deer… we can’t promise you’ll see everything while here but they are all about.

We know that planning a holiday with small children can feel like planning to cross the Alps by elephant.

So we try and cut down your hassle-factor: proper wooden cots, highchairs and sand-friendly three-wheel pushchairs, backpacks for walks and, for your safely-fenced, family-sized garden, ride-on toys...

Our House

This is where we live, the wing of the Farmhouse with our own completely separate garden and entrance. Farmhouse Cottage has its own private pretty walled garden and entrance.

Valerie is a simple family cook who loves to prepare simple honest farmhouse food, on her aga, for visitors.

Arrival Day Suppers and Homemade Cakes are very popular, but we also do one pot suppers, bespoke dinners, farmhouse breakfasts and yummy desserts: complete meals, brought to your door, hot and ready to eat.
