This week sees the reopening of some of our favourite beach eateries and farm shop after their winter rest.

Curgurell Farm Shop just up the road from us opens its doors for the season with its regular supply of the freshest fish, crabs and lobsters, veg,fruit and goodies and cakes.

The Thirstea Co. is a travelling tea shop serving bespoke teas, coffees and cakes and snacks from its vintage van, normally parked up in the beach car park at Towan Beach near Portscatho

The Hidden Hut is now open all day every day on Porthcurnick Beach for al fresco lunches and feast nights. Feast night calendar can be accessed from their website but the tickets sell out very fast so you’ll need to be on the ball and registered.They also do pop up lunch feasts whci h dont require tickets and its def worth visiting for those !

New Kitchen and New En-suite Wet Room for Willows

During January 2014 we will be closing Willows for a complete reconfigurement of the en-suite wet room to give it a slick new look with new tiling, a shower area with glass screen to prevent water running all over the place and new sink and loo…. it will still be accessible for those a bit less mobile and hopefully a much better experience for all .A brand new kitchen as well will give Willows a trendy makeover that marks its 12th year since we converted it from our lambing shed in 2003 !

B&B cum Supper Room nearly ready to roll !

Finished all bar the furniture , the amazing lights by local artisan furniture maker Tom Raffield really finish it off…. our lovely new room which can be used for B&B or as a Supper Room for gatherings or a group booking dining area is a haven of light, space and peace- overlooking the fields and lake and with its south facing sunny decking its going to be a real escape, send us an email for more details if you’d like to book.

Weddings and Family or Friends ‘get together’s ‘

There are very few places here on the Roseland where you can book a site of luxury cottages, within 15 mins walk of the beach ,along with 20 acres all to yourself….We are often asked about hosting weddings here, and we often get the whole site booked out for family groups or friends all wanting to holiday together.With the 4 well spaced cottages sleeping up to 21, near enough to feel together but space enough for quiet time, plus the tennis court, table tennis ,lakes, animals, its a very private and relaxing space for large groups to enjoy.

With the new addition here of the Supper Room with outside decked area, that can seat 21, we can provide lovely relaxing home cooking or you can hire in a local chef for your requirments.

We have loads of places to pop up a marquee, all sorts of contacts for flowers, food, music etc and a wealth of experience organising functions and weddings to help you along the way.

Finished the decking - facing south to catch the sunniest longest days…Still got more to do inside but a large open space,it can be whatever you want it to be – a hideaway B&B for couples, a lovely room and outdoor space for Suppers for groups staying here or a lovely intimate wedding reception venue … or for locals a laid back and relaxed Private Function Room or for local business a fab place for Lunch Meetings and Away Days….
