We are committed to sustainable tourism: Valerie is one of four Board members of the Cornwall Sustainable Tourism Project, a network of over 1500 members (and still growing) stretching all over the county, all over the UK and as far as Australia and New Zealand.

We were Cornwall’s first cottages to be assessed (in 2006) by the nationally-recognised Green Tourism Business Scheme; our environmental impact was assessed in 120 ways, and we are delighted to be awarded and maintain a ‘Gold’ level.

Every year all Premier Cottages properties are subject to a rigorous inspection by their national tourist board prior to being considered for inclusion and Pollaughan is proud to be a member of this organisation.

Each year our cottages at Pollaughan are inspected for quality to ensure that we are maintaining our high standards. Each year we hope that we meet and exceed your expectations and reflect that we deserve the VisitEngland star ratings awarded.
